We stayed there for a long weekend and loved it! Fabulous rooms , service and a 5 star breakfast! There is secure and safe parking and we found the rooms to be spacious , fresh flowers in the room and every need catered for. I will recommend to anyone! There is a beautiful garden and it is set in a quiet area.

I can honestly say nothing negative about this guest house ... some people would probably like air-conditioning but even with the hot weather at the moment the lack thereof is not a problem ... probably because of the trees and the fans and high roof. Positano was recommended to me by a colleague who stayed here regularly before and for long periods. He said to me " and please book with dinner" ... which I did ... the best food I ever had at any guest house (and to me better than the overwhelming hotel buffets) ... way to much food and lovely presented with a little special something in there somewhere. I will most definitely stay here again in the future ... I am very very impressed ...

We went with the four of us from Winterton to Knysna and decided to stop for the night in Queenstown. We did not make any arrangements. So the first B@B where we stopped was fully booked. But a gentleman recommended us "POSITANO" .He couldn't have done better. What a big surprise! Beautiful house, garden and guestrooms. All very spacious and with a great love for details. In the evening there was "loadshedding", but sitting outside with the oil lamps made it very romantic. And the breakfast was the best. We were really spoiled by the staff. POSITANO, an absolute must when you are in Queenstown and have to stay there for one or more nights.

What a lovely surprise in Queenstown! The rooms were beautiful with stunning old colonial style furniture! The garden has a fairy tale feeling! Just got the feeling the rest of the beautiful house is not to share with guests! had a fantastic breakfast with attention to detail. Were not offered the option of dinner but did find a lovely restaurant close by. Will definitely be back!

Queenstown was a stop over on a road trip into the Drakensburg. A friend of mine recommended Positano... Which turned out to be a real treat. The room I stayed in was massive, clean and was filled with character. The staff are all extremely friendly and more importantly, well trained. Breakfast was served in a cosy dining area with a log fire burning to add to the atmosphere. My only disappointment was that I never got to stay longer. Well done and thank you Positano.

The owner Oberita and her Team of Ladies are Professional and Friendly. The Rooms are beautifully furnished and clean. In winter they warm up the room before arrival and in the Mornings there is a cosy crackling fire in the Dining room as early as 07h00. You can relax in the tranquil mature garden. This is my home away from home.
